When referring one of your networking partners, tell the prospect "I know someone who can help you with that. I will get (name of referee) to contact you". It’s in our interest to chase the prospect rather than have them chase us. If your referee contacts the prospect within the next 24 hours, 9 times out of 10 they wll get the business.
